SKALA is a ministry for teens in 7-10th grade levels. The club meets every Monday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm throughout the school year.
Worship Together
The first part of SKALA consists of a short service in the church gymnasium, where we sing and pray together. Following the service, the teens will either hear a sermon on a Biblical topic, or they will split into four groups by grade level, and will participate in an interactive Bible Study. Every other Monday, SKALA hosts a fun workshop or activity for the teens to participate in and enjoy.
Study the Bible
The sermons and Bible Studies that the teens go through the first part of the year are based on a Biblical theme which prepares them for the Big Bible Quest (BBQ). This quest is an event where the four groups compete against each other in a fun, Biblical contest to win a prize. Everyone is invited to this event!
Learn & Have Fun
Every year, the same teens are also invited for summer camp which is always lots of fun. During this camp, the leaders strive to make a lasting spiritual impact in the lives of the teens.
